Substance over form

What are your thoughts? I am totally confused about the subject. I have always believed that who you are on the inside is more important, but would it apply to rude badly behaved people with supposedly good heart or well rounded hypocrites? This is the question. We all know the answer is in the middle and all that, but the truth is the later are always on top and this is fact.
